This trek takes one to some of the remotest regions of Kumaon Himalayas in the state of Uttaranchal. Borders with Nepal and Tibet are in close proximity. This trail in the Milam valley also known as Johar valley was once used by traders crossing over from India to Tibet through the high passes.
